Local Counties Looking to Governor to Nullify Obamacare

AMARILLO -- More Texas Counties are joining Randall in urging Governor Perry to invoke states rights when it comes to healthcare reform.

The Panhandle County Judges and Commissioners Association has approved a resolution asking Perry to call a special session to essentially nullify the Affordable Care Act passed two years ago.
This comes after Randall County Judge Ernie Houdashell sponsored a similar resolution that passed unanimously earlier this month.
Carson County passed a similar resolution this week and other panhandle counties plan to take up the measure in the future.
