Southwest Missouri will see two congressional candidates today.
Incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill (D, MO), who is seeking re-election, will be in West Plains at the Stockyards Restaurant at 9:45 this morning.

She'll travel to Houston from there, for an appearance at a rural fire station.  McCaskill calls it her "Fighting for Farmers" tour.
She'll be talking about how her record has helped farmers, ranchers and rural families.

And Rep. Billy Long (R, MO), who represents the 7th district in Congress, will kick off a tour about jobs at 8:30 this morning.  He'll speak at Snyder Equipment, as part of his "Job Creators" tour.

At 11:00 a.m., Long will be in Mount Vernon at Positronic Industries and make a stop at Monett's Efco Corporation at 1:00 p.m.
Long says he wants to hear from job creators and their employee's on how to grow the manufacturing sector.
