Rep. Tom Reed Addresses Questions About Trip to Israel

A New York congressman is setting the record straight about a trip he took to Israel last year. Tom Reed was part of a group of U.S. lawmakers that visited last August. One congressman stripped naked and swam in the sea of Galilee.
Reed says his behavior was completely appropriate, that he and his wife were fully dressed when they went swimming after a long day of meetings and a dinner with his colleagues. The whole thing was brought to light by the website, politico.com. The website says alcohol was involved and Congressman Kevin Yoder of Kansas took off his clothes before going in. Yoder has apologized, telling the Kansas City Star he is "incredibly remorseful."
Politico.com claims the FBI investigated whether any inappropriate behavior occurred, but added no formal allegations of wrongdoing were found. Reed disputes that part of the story.
