Arkansas Delegates Ready to Kick Off RNC on Tuesday

By: KARK 4 News
Updated: September 17, 2012
Monday was supposed to be the official start of the Republican National Convention -- slated full of events. However, Tropical Storm Isaac made its mark cancelling all the events organizers had planned for today.

Most of those events, including a speech from Congressman Tim Griffin of Arkansas, will take place Tuesday. You can watch Griffin's speech streamed live on arkansasmatters.com.

KARK's Josh Berry reports delegates from Arkansas stayed fairly busy at their hotels. The delegates came in and out all day using the free time as a moment to relax until things get underway tomorrow.

The focus Tuesday will be getting down to business and trying to start this country in what they say is the right direction.
